Holy Family Parish Ingleburn

Welcome to our Parish

A special word of welcome to our parishioners and regular visitors. Holy Family is a vibrant parish and part of the Catholic Diocese of Wollongong under the direction of Bishop Brian Mascord. Like the Diocese, our Parish has been blessed with a rich diversity. We are a parish family that is welcoming and generous, with parishioners who are active witnesses to God's love through their devotion, kindness, charity and service. At Holy Family, our faith in Christ Jesus is one that encourages us not only to live in communion with God, but also in communion with one another.

Mass Registration and NEW Requirements

Registering your attendance for Mass is compulsory at this time due to NSW Government directives. It is important that all parishioners and visitors register in advance for all weekend Masses, and contact the Parish Office for any changes. Please note: registrations for ALL weekend Masses close each week on Thursday at 12noon. To register, please click on the 'Register for Mass' image above and enter your details.

NEW Requirements

  1. Effective immediately, the NSW Government requires all parishioners to scan a QR Code (just like a barcode) using your mobile smartphone when entering the church, including adding the details of all dependants. We know these are difficult times, but appreciate your understanding and co-operation. If you do not have a smartphone, the Monitors will assist with other sign-in options.
  2. Effective from Sunday, 3 January 2021 face masks are mandatory when attending any of our Masses at Ingleburn or Minto. Children under 12 years of age area exempt, though encouraged to wear a mask where practical. $200 fines apply to each individual for non-compliance.
  3. Our parish is restricted to a maximum of 100 people (Ingleburn) and 28 people (Minto) at any Mass at all times.
Entry to Mass at Holy Family Ingleburn and Holy Trinity Minto is contingent on agreeing to the following conditions:

  • All parishioners must continue to pre-register using TicketTailor - this will ensure the Parish monitors the numbers attending Mass.
  • Upon arrival, please check-in using the NSW Government QR code (or other sign-in options made available). When using the QR code, the NSW Government will receive your name, telephone number, and the date/time of your visit to our parish.
  • Parishioners and visitors are asked to sit only with those in your household and leave at least 2 spaces between yourself and other families.
  • Congregational singing is currently not permitted.
  • Parishioners are asked to leave as soon as possible after Mass to allow sufficient time for our very small team of helpers to sanitise the church. Please assist by not congregating in the foyer or outside the church; carpark gates will close approximately 20 minutes after Mass concludes.
Thank you for your understanding and co-operation.

A Big Thank You - Ingleburn St Vincent de Paul Conference Members

The Ingleburn St Vincent de Paul Society Conference members would like to offer our sincere thanks to the Holy Family Ingleburn parishioners, including those who contributed directly to our online fundraising page, and to the Holy Family School Parents' and Friends' Association for your generosity in contributing to the Ingleburn Conference Christmas appeal. The total amount of money raised, was $3,814.40, which was a wonderful response during the midst of the coronavirus pandemic.

We are also very grateful to the Holy Family School students and their families who contributed 27 Christmas food hampers, and to the student leaders and teachers who coordinated this appeal and compiled the hampers. These hampers were distributed to struggling families in the Ingleburn community and were greatly appreciated.

Parish Infrastructure Improvements

Parishioners will have noticed the enormous amount of work that has been undertaken in the Parish since September. More detailed information will follow in early 2021, but how magnificent it is to see our beautiful new gardens flowering in front of the church, the weeds being controlled, the new brighter lighting inside and outside our church, vast improvements to our air-conditioning system and a long list of maintenance tasks and repairs including drainage, plumbing, tiling, painting, and security improvements. An improved audio-visual system and projection screens will feature early in the year. More details to follow.
