On Sunday 5 March 2023, we held a Commissioning of Parish Catechists during the 9am Mass. It was a lovely occasion, and in the Commissioning, after Communion, Fr Henry led the congregation in a touching ceremony of encouragement and appreciation of their representatives, the catechists, going out as members of the parish, to teach God’s Word in the schools. At the end, Fr Henry encouraged the congregation to extend the hand of blessing over the catechists.

We congratulate and thank our catechists as they make their commitment to serve this ministry and especially the children in this parish. We pray for them and continue to pray for and encourage others who are interested to join this important parish ministry.
