Dear Parishioners,
Greetings from Indonesia!
I’m half way through the General Visitation of the Java Province of the Divine Word Missionaries in Indonesia. Last week I visited five parishes in West Kalimantan (Borneo Island.) This week I’m in Jakarta visiting another six parishes and meeting with lay groups collaborating with the Divine Word Missionaries as Lay Partners. I’m very much touched by the strong faith of the Indonesian Catholics. The churches on Sundays are full with a strong presence of all age groups. The parishes that I’ve so far visited give the impression of a Church that is fully alive!
