Message from Fr Sean Cullen | 22 October 2021

October 22, 2021

Dear Parishioners,

Welcome back to Church! It has been a long time coming, but it’s wonderful that we can return to Mass, be physically present to each other, and, most importantly, that we are able to receive Jesus in the Eucharist. The time of “spiritual communion” has passed.

For the next few weeks, the four square metre rule still applies, so we are asking that those who wish to attend Sunday Mass, to register through the parish website. There are also some other restrictions in place, like no congregational singing, but these too will soon be lifted.

This weekend will mark the last recording of Mass. If you know anyone, even in your own household who is unable to return to Mass, please contact myself or the parish office, and we will make sure they receive Holy Communion at home.

As mentioned previously, Mass will not be celebrated at Minto until further notice due to the current COVID restrictions.

A meeting will be held next  Thursday, 28th October at 6pm in the Church at Minto to discuss this matter.

Again, because of space restrictions, if you would like to attend this meeting, please register through the parish website or contact the parish office. All are welcome.

I look forward to seeing you soon.

Fr. Sean.
